Differential Geometry, General RelativityBiography:
My field is differential geometry, mostly as relating to general relativity. I study global structures of spacetimes, particularly the construction known as the Causal Boundary (which creates, in a universal manner, a structure that allows for understanding the causality behavior of a spacetime model in the large).
I've also spent some time contributing to a study of how differential geometry can be used to compare 2- and 3-dimensional physical models (such as medical images of a human body at two different times).
