Education:
- PhD in Mathematics, Purdue University, 1986
- MS in Mathematics, University of North Texas, 1982
- BS in Mathematics, Southern Methodist University, 1977
Research interests:
Harmonic analysis and its applications
Biography:
I finished my Ph.D. under the direction of Richard Penney at Purdue, and came directly to Saint Louis University as a tenure-track assistant professor. I have been fortunate to contribute to a growing and vibrant department by teaching graduate and undergraduate classes, mentoring wonderful Ph.D. students, pursuing research in harmonic analysis and its applications, and service to the university and the profession. Recent research interests include regularity of linear group actions, and aspects of the interplay between representation theory of solvable Lie groups and applied harmonic analysis.
